Reception

Children born between 1 September 2019 and 31 August 2020 need to apply for a Reception place at a  primary school. Full guidance and an online application form can be found at merton.gov.uk/admissions. If you are not a Merton resident please apply through your home local authority.

Please read through our admissions policy carefully here. If you are applying for a Foundation (Church) place , please complete the supplementary form here.

The deadline for online applications and supplementary forms is 15th January 2024. 

Nursery

Children born between 1st  April 2021 - 31st March 2022 can now apply for a Nursery place. St. Matthew's deals with its own admissions for nursery. Our nursery hours are 8.45 am to 11.45 am Monday to Friday, our admissions policy can be found here and our application form here. The closing date is 28th February 2024.

We also offer extended nursery (Little Acorns) hours 11.45 am to 3.30 pm Monday to Thursday term time only.  Information and application form can be found here. The closing date is 28th February 2024.
