School Council Enterprise Sale
School Council Enterprise Sale
As a school council we decided that we wanted to lead a project that would raise money for a charity close to our hearts; Kibera. Therefore, on Wednesday the 7th of February St Matthews had a sale. Each class worked hard to make creations worth selling: Reception created pencil pots that they made from recycled materials; Year 1 sold plant pots with bulbs in them also made from recycling; Year 2 sold valentine cards; Year 3 made cookies; Year 4 made book marks; Year 5 concocted smoothies and finally, Year 6 sold black board designs. We all worked hard with our projects. The money we raised will go towards the lunch bowl project – feeding children in Africa.
We did a great job. Well done everyone!
