The pupils make a very strong contribution to their own community and keenly support a range of charities.
(Ofsted November 2010)
The children have a keen sense of responsibility and have a desire to support those in need or less fortunate than themselves. They are quick to come up with imaginative fund-raising ideas and are encouraged to do so. Recent fund raising activities have been:
- an art exhibition organised by a year one child and dress as your hero day.
We have very close links with The Lunchbowl Network, a charity supporting orphans in the Kenyan slum of Kibera.
Every year, each house agrees on a charity to support and the children organise a wide range of events to raise funds for their charities.
